Mommotome by U&U

What makes the U&U Mammotome special
Because the test is performed with a needle, patients who have had breast augmentation naturally fear their implant could be damaged.

At U&U, an experienced board-certified breast surgeon can perform the examination under high-precision ultrasound guidance without damaging the implant, and rupture can be checked immediately by ultrasound, so you can rest assured. The procedure can be performed under sedation, and the breast biopsy (Mammotome procedure) wound is only about 8mm, becoming nearly invisible once healed.

MastoCheck FAQ

seouluniv01
Q. Is the Mastocheck test reliable?
A. MASTOCHECK is a test developed through years of clinical research led by professors at Seoul National University Hospital. Its validity for diagnosing stage 0–2 breast cancer has been demonstrated, and it is approved by the Korean MFDS as an in vitro diagnostic medical device.
Q. How often should I get the Mastocheck test?
A. Under Korea's national cancer screening program, mammography is performed every two years for women aged 40 and older. MASTOCHECK, a screening tool with the same purpose, is likewise recommended at least every two years — but since it is a simple blood test, we recommend having it done annually.
