Motiva Preservé Reviews? Let's Check Whether It's Safe with 2 Related Studies.
Motiva Preservé reviews
Can I really trust them?
Since the procedure came out not long ago,
there aren't many reviews out there.
It also seems to be the most expensive option,
which makes deciding on the surgery all the harder.

Hello, this is U&U Plastic Surgery, a clinic supplied with Motiva Preservé.

We are writing this article to help those who are considering Preservé but keep putting off the decision because there are relatively few reviews.
Preservé is
similar to the conventional subfascial technique performed through an inframammary-fold incision,
as an overall method,
while the space the implant will go into
is created with a 'balloon' —
that is where it differs.

So, to reassure you about the safety of Preservé, we would like to go over two things.
- The safety of the conventional subfascial technique using an inframammary incision
- The safety of techniques that use a 'balloon' to place the implant
This information comes from published research, so please pay close attention.
Through the conventional inframammary incision:
the safety of the subfascial technique
Source
Let us introduce one study conducted on exactly this topic.

The paper above pooled data from 22 studies related to subfascial breast surgery.
Based on a total of 3,743 cases, it examined the complications / recovery period / satisfaction of subfascial surgery.
For reference, most of the subfascial cases reviewed in that study were performed through an 'inframammary incision'.
And the results were as follows.
Item examined
Incidence and outcome
Capsular contracture rate
(a complication in which the breast hardens)
1.01%
Infection rate
0.1%
Implant malposition
(animation deformity)
0%
Post-operative satisfaction
Mostly very high
Recovery period
Short, with little pain
That is data meaningful enough to demonstrate its safety.

Now let's look at the safety of Preservé's other component — the approach that uses a 'balloon'.
Using a 'balloon'
to place the implant:
the safety of this technique
Motiva Preservé reviews
For most people, talk of using a balloon probably sounds unfamiliar.
But using a balloon in breast augmentation is something that has been done for a long time.
It was mainly applied to breast augmentation through a transaxillary (armpit) incision. Endoscopes are mostly used now, but in the past the balloon-based approach was used.

The study above is a paper published in the past on the topic of 'breast implant augmentation using a balloon'.
It followed a total of 56 women, observing their outcomes for an average of 18 months after surgery to assess the procedure's safety.
The findings were reported as follows.
Item examined
Incidence and outcome
Bleeding / infection / implant rupture
0 cases
Capsular contracture
1.8%
The results look safe,
so why is it only now
that the balloon-assisted approach through the inframammary fold
is being performed..?

Inserting an implant through the armpit offers a more limited surgical view than inserting it through the inframammary fold.
Because the implant had to be placed without a direct view of the breast, auxiliary tools such as a balloon / endoscope were needed.
Surgery through the inframammary fold, however, had no need to look for such auxiliary tools. The view was already secured, so the operation proceeded while looking directly at the lower breast.

The TV program 'Let Me In' from over a decade ago — featuring our breast surgery doctor
Preservé was already being performed in Europe before it arrived in Korea.
We hope this fact, together with the studies covered today, helps clear up any doubts about its safety.
Finally, we will close this article by attaching the columns we have written about the Preservé procedure.
