First, let us introduce one study related to safety.
It was published under the title 'Complication rates after surgery with Motiva implants.'
To measure complication rates, the authors gathered and analyzed 13 studies on Motiva implants.
The 13 studies included a total of 4,784 female patients.
Of these, adverse events occurred in 5.2% of all patients.

- Capsular contracture: 0.54%
- Hematoma: 0.54%
- Seroma: 1.08%
- Rare lymphoma (BIA-ALCL): 0 cases
What matters most is that capsular contracture — the most notorious complication of breast augmentation — occurred at just 0.54%.
With older implants, many studies often reported capsular contracture rates averaging around 15%.
In that sense, Motiva implants can be considered sufficiently safe.

Most reviews on the internet cover only the first year after surgery.
It is hard for patients to know what things look like 3 or 5 years after the implants go in.
So we brought a study that followed patients for 6 years after Motiva breast augmentation.
A total of 35 people took part in this study.
They received breast augmentation with Motiva SmoothSilk implants and were followed consistently for 6 years.
Along with complications, the study assessed implant condition and patient satisfaction.
As a result, every satisfaction response was either 'very satisfied' or 'satisfied.'
Over the entire 6 years, not a single complication or adverse event was reported.
