Below, we will explain what criteria to use when looking for a good breast augmentation clinic in Daejeon.
This advice comes from 20 years of breast surgery research, so we hope you pay close attention.
1. Large hospital? Private clinic?
Size does not matter much.

We are not here to repeat the obvious point that what matters is who the operating surgeon is.
Of course, the surgeon's skill is also one of the factors directly tied to breast augmentation results.
But after 20 years of researching breast surgery, we believe Korea now has many doctors who are skilled at breast augmentation.
So with surgical skill as a given, we recommend looking at the clinic's environment. Specifically, check whether it is an environment devoted exclusively to breast surgery.

The Let Me In TV program about a decade ago - participated as breast surgery medical staff
Unlike eyes, nose, or facial contouring, the implants used in breast augmentation have kept changing.
Starting in 1990, they have evolved again and again — 1st-generation, 2nd-generation implants, and beyond.
Why is that?
Because breast augmentation is a surgery more vulnerable to infection than other cosmetic procedures.
Breast implants are placed not only under the skin, but under the fascia and muscle as well.
That makes it inevitably the most infection-prone of all cosmetic surgeries.
(* This is also the reason capsular contracture — the most representative complication — occurs. )
Infection during surgery does not arise only from a lack of skill on the medical team's part.
An environment where areas other than the breast are operated on the same floor — that alone can make infection more likely.
( * Bacteria generated during eye or nose surgery can travel through the air. )
So please check whether the clinic performs breast surgery exclusively.

2. The truth about breast augmentation aftercare.
Source
Many people ask whether breast augmentation aftercare is really necessary.
Since the cost of surgery itself is substantial, people often worry that adding aftercare will make the cost even more of a burden.
Yet before breast augmentation, many people do not know their own exact bra size.
Menstrual cycle / weight changes / pregnancy and childbirth — size shifts with hormones, so it is often hard to state a definite cup size.
However,
the breasts are affected by gravity for a lifetime.
Without proper care,
even the shape of breasts with implants
can change under gravity.

In other words, wearing the right bra is essential.
Aftercare should therefore address not just swelling and scars, but also maintaining breast shape.

And that is not all.
The two implants placed in the breasts weigh at least 500 g combined.
That 500 g is carried by your upper body — your shoulders, neck, and more.
As a result, postural problems can develop, such as rounded shoulders or a straightened neck.
Since this can even progress to disc pain, some patients end up removing their implants because of postural changes.
That is why aftercare for body alignment must also be considered.
