The factors that actually determine breast augmentation results are often missing from the reviews patients write.
Take the 'surgery' itself: most patients focus first and foremost on the 'implant.'
That is understandable — the implant type is the most visible factor from a patient's point of view, so reviews talk about it a lot.
But beyond implant type, breast augmentation results are determined by factors such as:
- where inside the breast the implant is placed
- the incision site used to insert the implant
- ribcage asymmetry
- ribcage shape
- the position of the existing nipple and inframammary fold
- breast tissue thickness, and so on..
Also, the result you see after surgery often does not stay the same 3 or 5 years later.
The breast, after all, is under the influence of gravity 24 hours a day.
So please do not choose a clinic by picturing your future self in someone else's review.
